Wisconsin Native Vote
Working with volunteers, activists, and partner organizations in the community to hold our elected officials accountable for the decisions that they make regarding our natural resources and to draw attention to important conservation issues in and around Northern Wisconsin. My particular focus is in Native American communitites in Northern Wisconsin. For more information please feel free to visit our website.
Indigenous Arts and Sciences
IAS is rooted in the values of respect, relationship, reciprocity, and responsibility. By partnering with Native tribes throughout Wisconsin, IAS addresses the need for culturally relevant science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning experiences and career exploration in the context of restoration-based education and community events. Tribal Youth Media and Digital Storytelling
Tribal teens learn digital storytelling techniques, including photography, videography, editing, and music composition. TYM is intended to help grow the next generation of storytellers and land stewards. This year we also introduced website building as part of our program. Federation Of United Tribes
The Federation will provide an opportunity to unite around the treaties protecting Mother Earth and our Tribal Rights for the next generations.
"Let us put our minds together and see what future we can make for our children." We know these words - they have been with us a long time, since given to and spoken by Chief Sitting Bull. Let us make our destiny with them.
This common destiny has never been more intertwined than when we see the environmental devastation wrought by the offenses and atrocities committed against Mother Earth. We are called upon by the Creator to respond to this devastation. Click here to find out more about the Federation.
